Yet as a design researcher, it can often be difficult to create an artifact to put a frame around. Lots of words and textual concepts, lacking in a visual representation.
Yes, the lack of "things" to frame in modern knowledge work is a real challenge here. One of the reasons people get end up getting sucked into chasing titles or pay rises (and material consumption generally) stems from how disembodied the work itself is. It would be great if there was a way to make documents and even simple Slack comments feel as visual and precious as as a piece of art!
Framing, in some strange way, gives me the strange sensation of actually listening to a drawing or other visual.
