Great insights! I think there’s a Venn diagram that overlaps universal design and design for kids - that’s the sweet spot we need to be designing for.

I think it might not work absolutely everywhere, but even for supposedly “grown-up” industries like banking and health it’s clearly a pretty powerful reframing exercise!

I kind of do want to see someone redesigning something overwhelming like video editing software or even a plane cockpit for kids now though! 🤪

Yes, I like the exercise of reframing it... HOW could something complex be redesigned to make sense for a child. It helps to consider accessibility and intuition, and throw out assumptions.
